According to today’s edition of *Corriere dello Sport*, the contract renewal for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia with Napoli appears to be at an impasse.
The Italian club has offered a deal worth approximately six million euros per season until 2029.
However, the Georgian player’s representatives are asking for an additional couple of million euros in order to finalise the agreement.
A significant sticking point is the demand for the inclusion of a release clause set at around 80 million euros.
Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli’s president, reportedly considers this amount to be too low compared to the player’s market value and is seeking to increase it.
