Coach Mladen Milinkovic of Buducnost has shared his thoughts on the Montenegrin talent, Adzic, who has just been signed by Juventus, during an interview with Tuttosport.
Drawing comparisons between Adzic and some football greats, Milinkovic is reported to have said, “It’s hard to single out one particular player. He has manifold qualities, a bit of one player and a bit of another.” The coach considered comparing Adzic to Steven Gerrard, Kevin De Bruyne, Jude Bellingham and former Juventus player, Vlado Jugovic, due to his pivotal tactical and strategic value.
Speaking about Adzic’s features, Milinkovic specifically underscored his sense of the game and stature, the latter standing at 185 centimeters. He cited Adzic’s panoramic vision which gives him the advantage of easily spotting two or three game solutions. The coach also emphasized Adzic’s skill of shielding the ball, asserting, “Try to take it away from him… It’s a tough task.”
Turning to Adzic’s objectives, Milinkovic revealed that he is rapidly learning Italian, as understanding the manager,t eammates, and club executives of a foreign club is essential. The player dreams of debuting in illustrious company – Ronaldo, Zidane, Platini, Del Piero, Nedved, Trezeguet, Buffon, among others, have all worn the same shirt. Adzic values setting goals and is willing to work hard to achieve them. Milinkovic further predicts that the player will debut in the national team in 2024, and his personal target over the coming years, supported by Juventus, is contending for the distinguished Golden Boy award.
The details of the new national team coach are expected to be announced by the end of the month after the exit of Radulovic who was recruited by Lebanon, according to the federal president Savicevic.
