Milan’s Pioli may lose Bennacer again as Algeria calls him for Africa Cup

It appears that Stefano Pioli, the Milan manager, is facing the challenge of more than just muscle injuries within his squad. He is also expressing concern over the potential pre-selection of Ismaël Bennacer to enlist with the Algerian national team.

Ismaël Bennacer, the skilled midfielder from Milan, has been shortlisted by Algerian manager, Djamel Belmadi, for the 55-person pre-selection for the upcoming African Cup.

It is expected that the final selection will be announced on the 31st of December. If Bennacer makes the cut, he will be departing on the 1st of January for Togo, where the team will hold their training camp.
