The renewal of Davide Calabria’s contract at AC Milan remains uncertain.
Despite the Rossoneri captain’s desire to stay and his request for a slight salary increase, the management appears hesitant to renew his contract.
Carlo Pellegatti has denied rumours of Calabria demanding €4 million, confirming the player is only asking for an adjustment to €2.5 million.
“The situation is now hanging in the balance, and Calabria could leave Milan at the end of the season,” Pellegatti stated in Calciomercato.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are gearing up for their clash against Venezia, managed by head coach Di Francesco. Matteo Gabbia might start in place of Pavlovic.
Milan is in pursuit of their first victory of the season and will have the support of approximately 70,000 fans at San Siro.
