Fenerbahçe has confirmed an agreement with Milan for the purchase of midfielder Rade Krunić, according to an official statement published on the club’s website.
“We have reached a principal agreement with midfielder Rade Krunić and his club, AC Milan. The player will arrive in Istanbul today for medical examinations and further negotiations,” reads a Fenerbahçe statement.
The club added it will introduce the player to the public at a later date. The Bosnian midfield maestro has been identified as part of the Turkish giant’s endeavour to strengthen their professional football team during the January transfer window.
The exact terms and length of Krunić’s contract with Fenerbahçe are yet to be disclosed. The Milan-based club has not released a statement responding to the Bosnian’s imminent departure.
