Milan are on the verge of securing the return of Matteo Gabbia from his loan spell at Villarreal, according to Sky Sport 24. The final touches are reportedly being put onto the paperwork today.

Matteo Moretto of Relevo has reported that Gabbia is expected in Italy by this evening. He is scheduled to undergo a medical check-up tomorrow, before joining the Milan squad for training.
