AC Milan’s technical directors, Moncada and Furlani, have their sights set on French defender, Clément Lenglet. This follows after securing the services of Terracciano and welcoming Gabbia back to the fold.
Lenglet, born in 1995, currently plays for Premier League club, Aston Villa, on loan from Barcelona. He appears to be AC Milan’s top choice, as reported by Milan News 24.
The search for a new central defender at Stefano Pioli’s team has become a priority, particularly after Torino rebuffed AC Milan’s approach for Buongiorno. As a result, the Milan-based club has switched their focus to the French central defender.
However, this venture presents significant challenges, as it requires convincing two other clubs to release Lenglet. The chances of success are particularly slim with Aston Villa, who would need to be persuaded to part ways with the player, as per an anonymous source in the Italian media.
