Milan’s chief scout, Moncada, has his eyes set on the future, amidst ongoing speculation around a potential bid for Leipzig striker, Sesko, according to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian giants are currently said to be focusing on the present while also laying the groundwork for the future. In recent days, the Rossoneri are understood to be considering Torino’s Buongiorno for their roster, with attention then likely to shift towards bolstering the attack come the summer.
Moncada has reportedly singled out Sesko from German outfit Leipzig as a prime target, despite the forward’s current market value sitting around the €40 million mark.
The club believes Sesko could be the right man to rejuvenate their front line. Yet, they are likely to face stern competition, with several clubs, notably from the Premier League, also said to be showing interest.
