AC Milan have reignited their interest in securing a backup for Theo Hernandez, with a potential target emerging from Serie A.
The club is actively looking for a replacement to fill Hernandez’s shoes when needed. According to Repubblica, the Rossoneri have already initiated preliminary inquiries for Luca Pellegrini, who is currently under contract with Lazio.
“The situation is still in its early stages, but Milan are definitely showing interest in Pellegrini,” reported Repubblica.
The Biancocelesti, as of now, have not indicated any intention of letting Pellegrini go. However, the player’s future remains a topic of discussion within the club.
This potential move is seen as strategic by Milan to bolster their squad depth as they aim for a strong performance in both domestic and European competitions.
