AC Milan have made their first offer for Matias Fernandez Pardo to Gent.
The offer, which includes bonuses, amounts to €12 million. However, it has been rejected by the Belgian club.
Gent are holding firm, with their valuation of the player standing at a minimum of €15 million.
This leaves a gap of €3 million between the two clubs.
Sources close to the negotiations indicated that Milan are hopeful of bridging this gap.
A club insider, speaking on the condition of anonymity, stated, “We are confident that a compromise can be reached.”
There’s optimism that further discussions will bring the two sides closer together.
The Rossoneri’s interest in Fernandez Pardo highlights their intent to bolster their squad further.
