Milan might be interested in bringing Kiwior back – Analysis on the Arsenal defender

AC Milan have reignited their interest in Polish defender Jakub Kiwior, who has already expressed openness towards a move back to Italy.

Last season, the versatile Kiwior, who can play both as a full-back and central defender, was linked with a switch to Milan. However, the Rossoneri opted not to pursue the deal further at that time.

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Milan are once again tracking the Arsenal defender.

A source close to the negotiations told Corriere dello Sport, “Kiwior is very much interested in returning to Italy. He believes the Serie A can offer him the playing time and development opportunities he’s seeking.”

Arsenal, who signed Kiwior in the last transfer window, are reportedly considering their options as the 23-year-old has struggled to secure a consistent spot in the starting line-up.

Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, an insider from AC Milan commented, “Jakub fits perfectly into our tactical plans. His versatility and defensive skills would be a valuable addition to our squad.”

With the transfer window now open, Milan are expected to make a formal approach in the coming days.
