Milan finalises Gabbia’s return: will come back early from loan

AC Milan’s central defender, Matteo Gabbia, is set to return to Milan this January. A decision prompted by a recent injury crisis within the Lombard club.

As per the report from Sky Sports, the development is virtually finalised. Gabbia will leave Villarreal having made seven appearances in 18 matches in La Liga and another six appearances in the Europa League.

AC Milan have decided to cut short his loan to Villarreal due to the recent injuries within the team. Matteo Gabbia is expected to rejoin the Milan side soon.
