A new transfer market scoop reveals that 16 year old Brazilian prodigy Estevão Willian Almeida de Oliveira Gonçalves, commonly known as “Messinho”, is beginning to draw interest from some of Europe’s top football clubs. Owned by Palmeiras, the young player has caught the eye of Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris Saint Germain among others. However, he will not be able to make a move to Europe until after he turns 18 on 24 April 2025.
Messinho has been turning heads among football enthusiasts for quite a while now. Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona publicly disclosed their interest in the promising talent in January last year. According to Olé, Chelsea have also recently joined the race for Messinho’s signature and are reportedly ready to stump up a whopping $60 million for the player. The talented youngster has already made his debut in Brazil’s Serie A with Palmeiras. Moreover, it’s worth mentioning that Messinho has been a fan of Lionel Messi since childhood.
