Marotta Finalizes Lightning Deal: Taremi Set to Join Inter Milan as Attacker

Inter Milan are keen on securing stalwart Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi from Porto in the forthcoming summer, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The prestigious Italian football club has a well-known propensity for keeping a sharp eye on players whose contracts are soon to expire. Taremi, whose contract with Porto is set to run out in June, is front and centre of this strategy. Able to negotiate with any club, Taremi has reportedly been on Inter’s radar since last summer.

The masterful strategic intervention of Beppe Marotta, the managing director of Inter’s headquarters on Viale della Liberazione, is believed to have convinced the Iranian frontman of the move.

Marotta’s crucial manoeuvres have brought the two parties significantly closer according to reports. An agreement to bring Taremi to Inter Milan is no longer considered an intriguing possibility, but rather a near certainty come the summer transfer window.

Taremi could potentially spearhead a newly revitalised Inter Milan team, which is also speculated to include the edition of Zielinski.
