Claudio Lotito, the boss of Italy’s Lazio football club, is said to be unwilling to let Felipe Anderson go for free and has reportedly prepared a surprising move for the Brazilian’s renewal.
Lotito, according to Italian sports daily ‘Il Corriere dello Sport’, does not intend to increase the wage proposal, presently at €3.5 million a season, including bonuses, but could consider extending the contract duration.
Rather than the initially proposed three-year contract with an option for the fourth year, Lotito is seemingly prepared to offer a five-year deal set to last until 30th June 2029, an idea previously raised at the start of the negotiation discussions. The upcoming weeks represent a decisive period for the impending contract discussions and potential renewal.
