Claudio Lotito has finally broken his silence amidst the persistent rumours regarding Ciro Immobile’s potential move to Besiktas.
The Lazio President addressed the speculation following a meeting with the Mayor of Rome.
“Has there been an offer from Turkey? I’ll tell you THIS,” Lotito remarked.
Lotito firmly dismissed the claims, stating, “Lazio has not received any formal proposal for Immobile.”
He stressed the club’s commitment to their star forward, saying, “Ciro is an integral part of our project, and we have no intention of letting him go.”
Lotito’s comments were clear and resolute, aimed at quelling the swirling rumours.
As the transfer window progresses, fans will be watching closely to see if Besiktas or any other club steps up with a concrete offer.
For now, however, it seems Lazio’s talisman is set to stay in Rome, reinforcing their ambition for the upcoming season.
