Lingard Heads to Korea: Two-Year Deal with Seoul Reached

Former Manchester United star, Jesse Lingard, is set to re-launch his career in South Korea, signing for FC Seoul.

The British player will sign a two-year contract with the option for a third year, according to reports from Sky Sports UK.

FC Seoul manager, Kim Gi-dong, has also confirmed the negotiation. He said, “I asked our director about it and he responded, ‘Yes, it is true, we are in talks with the player, but the deal is not yet confirmed.’ If he were to join us, it would obviously be fantastic for the K-League because many foreign fans would become interested in our championship. He hasn’t played for a while, so we’d need to give him time to adapt rather than expecting an immediate impact.”
