AC Milan has identified French defender Clement Lenglet as their prime target in the January transfer market, according to reports.
The news, reported by Italy’s Corriere dello Sport, suggests that Lenglet has already agreed to the move in principle. However, details are yet to be finalised with FC Barcelona, Lenglet’s current team, and Aston Villa also reportedly interested.
Milan’s preference would be a loan deal with an option to buy, reflecting a prudent approach in the current transfer market.
