Lecce’s Baschirotto not training: the reason

The overall fitness of Lecce’s central defender Federico Baschirotto in the lead-up to the next Serie A match has been a topic of discussion.

Lecce’s latest training report revealed updated conditions of Pontus Almqvist and new changes concerning Federico Baschirotto and Dorgu.

According to the statement released by the club, “The giallorossi reunited this morning at the Acaya Golf Resort & SPA. Coach D’Aversa could not rely on Baschirotto, who rested due to a feverish condition, and on Almqvist and Dorgu, who followed a personalized training program. Tomorrow morning training will take place at Via del Mare.”
