The transfer window for Italy’s Lecce football club looks ready to fly open at the careful attentions of player recruitment expert, Pantaleo Corvino, who is reportedly close to securing two significant signings as part of a survival bid.
Corvino, the club’s transfer market maestro, is said to be laying the groundwork for a couple of important additions to manager D’Aversa’s squad.
The Southern Italian side has virtually completed the signing of offensive winger Pierotti from Colon for €1.2m, with a contract running until 2027. The influx of fresh talent does not stop there, as the midfielder De Wit, currently plying his trade at Dutch club AZ Alkmaar, is also reportedly on the verge of a move.
This information, although promising, is still emerging and yet to be officially confirmed by relevant clubs or representatives.
