Lazio forward Mattia Zaccagni gave his thoughts ahead of the kick-off of his club’s match against Inter Milan. Speaking to DAZN, he discussed his training approach, recent injuries, and the challenge presented by Inter.
“I think about training well at all times,” he stated. Zaccagni admitted that he has had to contend with some injuries over the past year. But now, he professes to be in good health. In terms of his manager’s expectations, he assured fans, “The boss asks me the usual things, nothing changes.”
Considering the competition, Zaccagni highlighted the competitive strength of Inter. “We know that Inter is a very strong team and we have to play our game,” he said. This betrays Lazio’s strategic focus on playing their natural game, irrespective of the opposition’s strength.
