Lazio Transfer Market: June Purchase Set to go, Plan in Place to Acquire at Zero Cost

Lazio Football Club has started outlining its strategic plan not only for the January transfer window, but also for the summer session, according to Italian newspaper ‘Il Messaggero’.

A key name that has emerged in recent days is Emanuele Valeri from Cremonese, who is anticipated to be a hot prospect for the summer transfer market. Valeri, a right-back by trade and a self-confessed Lazio fan, has a contract with Cremonese that is up for expiry in June, indicating he could make the move to Lazio on a free transfer.

The strategy of the Biancocelesti’s management team appears to be to sign Valeri in June and then send him out on loan. The intention is to allow him to gain more experience elsewhere before he arrives at their Formello training ground.

However, the future of the club’s current right-backs, Adam Marusic and Elseid Hysaj, remains uncertain and will be closely assessed by club manager Maurizio Sarri.
