Lazio resumes training: Romagnoli and Casale absent

Lazio resumed training today at Formello, ahead of their Friday match against Frosinone. However, there are concerns regarding the availability of both Romagnoli and Nicolò Casale at the heart of the defence.

In addition to the injured Immobile and Luis Alberto, who are scheduled for diagnostic tests tomorrow, Romagnoli was also absent. Nicolò Casale, a crucial central defender, has reported intestinal problems and his availability for Friday’s match remains doubtful. It is likely that Patric and Gila will once again play in central defence.

The midfield trio is expected to consist of Guendouzi-Rovella-Kamada. The offensive trident will likely have Castellanos as the central forward, accompanied by Zaccagni and Felipe Anderson on the wings.

Though Lazio’s coach Maurizio Sarri may face a dilemma due to these health concerns, the situation is expected to become clearer in the coming days.
