Lazio have abandoned their pursuit of Lazar Samardzic, according to Sky Sport’s Luca Marchetti.
There was a considerable disparity between Udinese’s demands and Lazio’s offer, which led Claudio Lotito’s club to withdraw from the negotiations.
Marchetti noted, “The differences in valuation were too significant to bridge.”
This has prompted Lazio to refocus their transfer efforts elsewhere.
The Biancocelesti will now need to look for alternative options to bolster their squad before the transfer window closes.
