Lazio Acquires Young Defender Labranca from Audace Cerignola

Lazio has sealed a deal with young footballer Ruggero Labranca, a move confirmed by his agent, Valentina Porzia. The settlement has been reached between Audace Cerignola and the biancoceleste club for the transfer of the young defender, born in 2006. Labranca, who grew up in the youth ranks of Asd Etra Barletta and has a history with Fidelis Andria, has now signed with the Serie A club and started training at the Lazio Training Centre in Formello. Since the start of this season, the Apulian player has stood out among the Cerignola Primavera’s eleven.

“I am pleased with the deal and the opportunity that Labranca will have in the coming months with the biancoceleste club”, Porzia stated, adding: “It pleases me to admit how the work of serious Apulian clubs, like Etra Barletta, can still lead to the growth of young local boys. There are not many clubs that prefer to win their own championships, hindering the footballing journey of their players, but in this case, talent seeking its own path has triumphed. Good luck, Ruggero!” These quotes were translated from an interview with Porzia, which was published in local sports media.

Despite the rarity of such moves, it is believed that Labranca’s switch to the Italian Serie A club will bring significant rewards, both for the player and his new club.
