Lautaro Martinez: Inter, I’ve missed you. Let’s keep flying

Following Inter Milan’s thrilling victory against Verona, striker Lautaro Martinez spoke to Inter TV to express his sentiments about returning to the pitch and the crucial win.

Martinez stated, “I’ve missed the pitch tremendously and I’m happy to be back.” He stressed the significance of the victory, given that the match was held on their home ground at San Siro.

The Argentine forward indicated that even though they were delighted with the win, they were mindful of the fact that there were areas for improvement. Martinez voiced that the team was aware of the looming threat posed by Juventus in the league and insisted on the necessity to persist in their winning ways.

“In order to do the job we’ve prepared for, we needed to win. We are taking these three points but with the knowledge that we have Juventus behind us and we need to keep winning”, said Martinez.
