Nicolò Zaniolo, a former Roma playmaker, seems to be distancing himself from a return to Italy. The attacking midfielder, who had been a target in the past for Juventus, is now poised to head back to Galatasaray following Aston Villa’s decision not to exercise their option to buy.
This update comes amid numerous rumours that had linked Zaniolo with a move back to Serie A. Industry insider Gianluca Di Marzio reported the latest twist in Zaniolo’s transfer saga.
“The chances of Zaniolo wearing the Juventus shirt again are becoming increasingly slim,” Di Marzio disclosed. He added that, “Galatasaray appears to be the frontrunner to secure his services once more,” solidifying the Turkish club’s interest in retaining the Italian playmaker.
Zaniolo’s journey continues to stir the transfer market, with his name frequently appearing in speculation. Despite the persistent links with a move back to Italy, it seems his immediate future lies with Galatasaray.
