Juve’s Pogba trial start delayed: the reason

Juventus’ French midfielder, Paul Pogba, is once again at the centre of a brewing doping scandal.

According to reports by Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, a plea made by the legal team of Paul Pogba for the postponement of his doping trial has been accepted. The hearing was initially set to take place at the National Anti-Doping Court on the 18th of January.

The new date for the Juventus midfielder’s trial has yet to be confirmed, but it certainly won’t be earlier than 15th February 2024. The Prosecutor’s request for Pogba to get a 4-year ban is still on the table.
