Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has given a press conference ahead of the team’s match against Frosinone tomorrow evening.
Reaching his 400th bench in Serie A, Allegri revealed his pride. “It’s of great importance. I’m very pleased to have reached this milestone with Juventus and to follow in the footsteps of such legends as Trapattoni and Lippi is a huge honour,” the Juventus coach was quoted as saying by Juventus News. He quickly added that “the most important thing tomorrow is to win the game and progress to the next round.”
Moving on to injury updates, Allegri confirmed that Chiesa will not be included in the squad as he is still recovering. “Chiesa’s knee is improving today, but he is not called up. There’s nothing to worry about, he will be available on Tuesday instead. Cambiaso will be there. But Chiesa, Rabiot, De Sciglio and Kean will remain unavailable,” said Allegri.
Regarding the team lineup for tomorrow’s game, Allegri revealed, “Both Gatti and Bremer will be on the pitch. As for Danilo and Rugani, we will see. Perin will be our goalkeeper, with the return of Locatelli.”
