Juventus’ head coach, Massimiliano Allegri, has shared his thoughts ahead of the clash between the Bianconeri and Frosinone.
Speaking in a press conference on the eve of the Frosinone-Juve match, Allegri addressed the status of striker Federico Chiesa. He revealed, “Chiesa felt discomfort in his patellar tendon during this morning’s training session and he wasn’t confident. I decided it wouldn’t be fair to put him in this situation.”
He also mentioned his dilemma over the club’s attacking options due to the recent performance of players like Milik, Vlahovic, and Yildiz who have been left with only three. The Juventus coach also confirmed that Adrien Rabiot is fit and will play.
“Milik has played a bit less but when he came on, he was crucial, both inside the box and especially in the management of some balls outside the box,” Allegri said. He emphasized that Milik needs to maintain his calm as he’s an essential part of the team.
