Juventus has reportedly reached a definitive agreement with Udinese over the transfer of midfielder Lazar Samardzic, according to today’s edition of Italian local daily, Il Messaggero Veneto. Samardzic is set to move to Turin as early as January, on a loan basis with an obligation to purchase.
The transaction details reveal that the operation amounts to a sum of €4 million for the loan and a further €16 million for the redemption. The funding for Juventus’s acquisition reportedly came from the proceeds generated by the sales of Dragusin and Ranocchia, outsmarting competition from Napoli in the process.
