According to Gianluca Di Marzio, speaking to Sky Sport, a new name has emerged for Juventus’ transfer market in defence as we approach the January window.
Juventus are reportedly eyeing Antonio Silva, the 2003-born player currently at Benfica and a member of the Portuguese national team.
The Bianconeri have been tracking Silva for quite some time, dating back to the era of Manna, and might use their excellent relationship with agent Mendes to finalise the deal.
Di Marzio explained, “Juventus may pursue a formula similar to that used for Francisco Conceicao, namely a loan with an option to purchase in the summer.”
This strategy would allow the player to bolster Motta’s squad, especially in light of the significant injuries to Bremer and Cabal.
