As per La Gazzetta dello Sport report, Juventus is looking to secure a deal to sign Portuguese defender Tiago Djalò from Lille, seeking to outpace competition from Inter Milan.
The Italian giants are supposedly preparing a compensation package for the French club that could be worth 2 to 3 million euros, plus bonuses. This move is to avoid Djalò leaving for free in January.
In recent days, there has been reflection on whether to progress with the proposed move. If Djalò agrees, Juventus sporting director Fabio Giuntoli will be able to finalise the transfer, overtaking Inter’s Giuseppe Marotta in their shared pursuit of the player.
