Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has praised both the team’s collective efforts and individual players in an interview with Sky Sport in Italy, following their Coppa Italia match against Frosinone.
Allegri said that while the match may have seemed simple after the fact, it was due to good approaches taken by all players on the field. “We opened the scoring, we made it 2-0, we had chances to make it 3-0. In the first half, we were a bit slow at times, we made some bad exits and Frosinone did well to create some danger,” Allegri was quoted as saying on Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.
While the Juve boss was generally satisfied with his team’s performance, he hinted towards the dangers posed by Frosinone, despite their victory, emphasizing areas the team needs improvement in.
An emphasis was also laid on future games, signifying caution ahead of their upcoming match against Sassuolo. Details from the remainder of Allegri’s interview can be found on JuventusNews24.
