Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri, has spoken on Dazn following the team’s victory against Salernitana at Arechi.
On the victory, Allegri was focused on their league standing. He acknowledged the strength of their competitors. “We are realistic. We have ahead of us Inter who are having an important season,” he said, as reported by Dazn.
He noted that the game was a significant one in terms of maintaining their distance from fifth place as the second half of the season commences, with 19 games remaining.
Allegri mentioned that given Juventus’ current position, having five games in hand was a significant advantage. He said, “Today was an important game to maintain the distance from the fifth position. Now the return leg begins and there are 19 matches left and having 5 matches in hand are already many.”
Looking forward, the coach expressed his focus on the upcoming midweek cup tournament against Frosinone, hoping to progress further in the competition. He stated they are eager to “pass the round”.
