Yesterday, his agent Tullio Tinti visited Inter’s headquarters to discuss terms with the club’s representatives.
However, the meeting did not yield the intended result.
“There are some points of disagreement, notably regarding the duration of the contract and salary adjustments,” a source close to the negotiations revealed.
According to inside sources, these differences are the primary obstacles to finalising the deal.
Inter’s management remains hopeful for a resolution, but both parties are yet to find common ground on these critical issues.
“We are optimistic but realistic about the complexities involved,” remarked an Inter spokesperson.
As time progresses, the uncertainty hanging over Inzaghi’s future at the club continues to loom large.
