Inter Milan’s transfer market, with Piero Ausilio leading the charge, never sleeps and remains ever watchful for potential new targets.
The Italian newspaper, Il Giorno, reports on a familiar name already noted in the club’s wish list, as well as on the radars of AC Milan, Juventus, and several clubs across Europe: Jonathan David.
The forward is set to become a free agent in June when his contract with Lille expires.
A spokesperson from Il Giorno explained, “The transfer market might see the Milanese clubs competing in what shouldn’t resemble a duel but rather an open race among several clubs.”
“The reference is to Jonathan David, a striker who is expected to end his spell at Lille for free at the end of June, well-known to Fonseca (having been coached by him in France) and long targeted by Ausilio for a new signing among the free agents.”
“They added, “It would be the latest in a long series of such signings, were it not for Juventus and various foreign clubs also entering the fray.”
This situation sets the stage for a highly competitive pursuit likely to captivate the footballing world in the coming months.
