Inter Plan to Acquire Iranian Striker Taremi

Negotiations between Inter Milan and Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi are progressing, with the Italian side reportedly looking to sign the player when his contract with FC Porto expires in July.

In a recent development, Inter made a significant move to persuade Taremi to join their ranks. According to a report in Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, club officials proposed that Taremi would start off as a backup for its two main strikers next season, effectively taking over Sanchez’s place.

The Porto forward appears to welcome the idea and the prospect of joining the Nerazzurri, the publication said. Other teams also reportedly showed interest in Taremi but they seem to be lagging behind in the race for the Iranian player.
