Inter’s negotiations for Dumfries’ renewal continue; potential successor identified
Inter Milan are progressing with negotiations to renew the contract of Denzel Dumfries. However, in the event of his departure, the club’s executives have already identified a potential successor.
According to Sky Sports, despite the current stalemate regarding Dumfries’ future, Inter have begun exploring options for a possible replacement. The Dutch international is currently occupied with the European Championships in Germany.
Piero Ausilio, Inter’s sporting director, and CEO Giuseppe Marotta have initiated the preliminary contacts for the alternative option.
