Yesterday’s Inter-Verona game didn’t sit well with the Italian Referees Association (AIA) and referee Gianluca Rocchi. They are awaiting a decision concerning VAR official Nasca, who has been accused of repeated errors.
According to reports from Italian sports newspaper ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, this is not the first time Nasca has made mistakes this season. A previously cited example was in the Juventus-Bologna match, where a penalty was not awarded for a foul on Ndoye.
There have been suggestions from the paper that the referee designator may decide to relegate Nasca to Serie B due to these errors.
