Inter Working on Renewal for Lautaro and Barella

Football journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided the latest updates on Inter’s potential contract renewals of Lautaro and Barella, the team’s captain and vice-captain respectively, in an appearance on Kick.

“Lautaro’s contract isn’t expiring in six months; we’re managing the situation and continuing to work as also stated by Ausilio in his latest interview,” reported Romano. “There is indeed optimism between the parties, we are heading in that direction, yet there are details to be ironed out. Patience will be required, both for him and for Barella’s renewal.”

Romano highlighted that Piero Ausilio, Inter’s club director, also spoke about Barella’s contract renewal. The case is definitely on the table, making it another open file for Inter in regards to the team’s transfer matters.
