Inter Milan remain strongly interested in Venezia midfielder Tanner Tessmann following his failed move to Fiorentina.
The American player had been linked with the Nerazzurri in the initial weeks of the transfer window. At one point, it seemed that Tessmann was on his way to Inter, before negotiations stalled.
Fiorentina were also in the running for the midfielder’s signature, but ultimately, their efforts did not come to fruition.
“Inter have always had a keen interest in Tessmann, and their pursuit hasn’t waned despite the recent hiccups,” a source close to the negotiations revealed.
