The main headline in recent days concerning Inter Milan’s transfer market revolves around significant progress made by the club’s management in renewing Yann Bisseck’s contract.
The club acknowledges the player’s growth and is prepared to reward him with a salary increase and a contract extension.
Despite being close to signing, a renewal wouldn’t necessarily preclude a future transfer.
As noted by *Tuttosport*, Inter previously rejected a substantial offer from West Ham, a Premier League side, last summer.
They now relish the benefits as Bisseck’s value has multiplied fivefold since he was signed just two summers ago from Aarhus for a mere €7.5 million.
Now, Marotta and Ausilio are reportedly asking for at least €40 to €50 million to part with him.
In regards to Bisseck’s situation, an inside source commented, “Inter is ready to reward the German with at least doubling his current salary of around €1.2 million per season.”
The same source added that this financial gratification “doesn’t equate to securing the youngster permanently.”
“If a top team from England offers between €40 to €50 million in the next summer window, it would be much more challenging for Marotta to refuse than the €30 million offer from West Ham,” they continued.
The appeal of the Premier League suits both the club and the player, given that such a move would present an astonishing profit for Inter, and Bisseck’s attributes are seemingly tailored for the English game.
