Niccolò Ceccarini, in his editorial for TMW, details the negotiations between Inter’s executives and Denzel Dumfries regarding the contract renewal. It appears that the confirmation and signature on the contract extension are indeed imminent.
“The deal, which is aimed at the next year, sees Inter hastening to resolve the final outstanding issue—the renewal of Dumfries,” Ceccarini analyzes.
He continues, “Discussions with the Dutch winger have been ongoing for some time. There were moments when it all seemed very difficult, but now a resolution is truly close. The new agreement, which will extend at least until 2027, is expected to allow Dumfries to earn around €4 million per season.”
This positive development suggests that an official announcement could be just around the corner.
