Inter Milan faces competition from Bologna for Fabbian as Bologna attempts to thwart their plans, striving for an agreement to avoid losing the player.

One of the key issues that Inter Milan will need to address next summer concerns the future of Giovanni Fabbian.

The midfielder, who was sold to Bologna last summer, remains under the nominal control of the Nerazzurri.

Next year, Inter will have the option to re-sign Fabbian from Bologna for an agreed fee of €12 million.

However, according to Il Resto del Carlino, a queue of admirers for the 2003-born midfielder is already forming.

“Roma wants him and so do several Premier League clubs,” the newspaper reports.

Among Inter’s plans is the idea of re-signing the player only to sell him immediately afterwards for a higher figure.

Bologna, on the other hand, aims to act quickly to prevent losing the midfielder for a sum that does not reflect his true value.

“Bologna does not want to lose him,” the source highlights.

For this reason, they hope to reach an agreement with the club on Viale della Liberazione.
