Icardi yearns for homecoming: Inter’s social media post and issues to be resolved

Argentinian striker Mauro Icardi has made no secret of his desire to return to Inter Milan, considering the city his true home.

On numerous occasions, Icardi has tried to re-establish ties with Inter, but has frequently met with seeming indifference from the club. The main obstacles to his return appear to be multi-fold: his weighty salary demands, and lingering tensions with his wife and agent, Wanda Nara.

Nara was a controversial figure during Icardi’s heaty departure from the club several years ago. In recent weeks, Icardi has used social media to repeatedly hint at a potential reunion with Inter, but so far, there has been no response from the club.
