Marco Baroni, manager of Hellas Verona, addressed the media on the eve of their match against Cagliari.
Baroni said in the press conference, “Faraoni has not fully recovered and we will evaluate him for the next week.” He shared that Magnani, however, has been training with the team and believes he has recovered. Mentioning another player, Serdar, he revealed, “We have a small issue with Serdar who received a knock in training and will not be available tomorrow.”
The Hellas Verona manager also commented on the player Bonazzoli amid recent transfer rumours. He clarified, “I do not pay much attention to market rumours. The player in Florence could have even gone on the pitch immediately, from this point of view there is the full availability of the boy and I believe he can give us a hand.”
On the topic of the next penalty, Baroni alluded to Djuric’s performance. He stated, “A penalty can be missed, then that ball seemed like it could not go in in any way. I think there are moments when the incidents penalise us.” His words suggest that he recognises the unpredictable nature of football and that mistakes on the pitch can sometimes be costly.
