Barcelona manager Hans Flick addressed the media in a pre-match press conference ahead of their clash with Getafe. Flick provided an update on the injury status of goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen.
“First of all, I must say that Iñaki is doing very well, both in training and during our retreat,” said Flick.
He added, “It’s always very difficult for a goalkeeper like him to be ready to step in. We have confidence in him, and then we will see what to do in the future.”
Flick continued, “We have very young players, and we must take care of the squad. We don’t feel any pressure; we are comfortable with Iñaki.”
When asked if an experienced goalkeeper is needed, Flick commented, “We will see how things develop. We will discuss with the team and, above all, with Deco. We’ll see what decision we will make.”
The statements were made during the press conference and reported by Calcio News 24.
