Fiorentina has begun making moves ahead of the next transfer market, eyeing another player hailing from Roma, according to reports.
In what appears to be an increasingly busy transfer window between Roma and Fiorentina, Andrea Belotti completed his loan move to Fiorentina at the eleventh hour in January. It has been highlighted as the best solution for Belotti himself and both clubs involved. Come summer, it will be decided if his move becomes permanent.
But first, it remains to be seen who will take the role of Roma’s sporting director after Pinto’s departure. As reported by La Repubblica, Belotti wasn’t the only player Fiorentina had in mind this winter. Zalewski has long been on Fiorentina’s radar too, it seems, as part of coach Italiano’s strategy. Therefore, the two clubs are expected to convene in the summer to discuss their game plan.
