Fiorentina striker Lucas Beltran expressed his joy following a key victory over Hellas Verona, during a post-match interview with DAZN.
Sharing his thoughts, he described the win as a “unique feeling”. Even though the team’s performance was not top-notch, the importance of the victory to the squad was paramount.
Impressively, it seems that Beltran isn’t just satisfied with the win. He acknowledged that there is much to be improved upon. He stated, “It’s a victory we needed even if we didn’t play a great match. It was important for us and we have a lot of things to improve.”
Personally, Beltran was pleased with his second goal of the match and the subsequent three points gained by his team. Speaking on his position as a trequartista, he said he thoroughly enjoys it. He said, in reference to his preferred role, “I like it a lot because I can play more with the ball and I can come out of the penalty area.”
Notably, the game against Hellas Verona was not a plain-sailing one, but Beltran emphasized his willingness to adapt and contribute whenever required. He expressed his readiness to meet all requirements set by the coach, saying, “Today was not easy, but I make myself available to the coach to make sure I am ready.”
